Causes of SJS/TENS

 

While the Stevens - Johnson syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis can have no known cause or be associated with a viral or bacterial infection, they can be linked to many common over the counter and prescription medication.

 

 

Drugs that have been associated with SJS/TENS include the following categories: anticonvulsants, sedatives, anti-inflammatories and some antibiotics.
